FARMINGTON — Strong winds toppled three pine trees onto an enclosed deck of a home at 201 Mason Road on Monday morning. There were no injuries.
There was damage to the master bathroom, homeowner David Swett said as he and stepson Anthony Trask tried to clear the trees to reach a generator Monday afternoon.
The trees exposed roots over 5 feet high, Trask said.
Swett had left for work when the trees came down about 6:30 a.m. His wife was at home and Trask’s wife had just dropped off their child at day care.
“It could have been much worse,” Swett said.
A fourth tree stands behind the house, and Swett said he was worried about it.
