Sunday River Ski Resort in Newry received the Maine School Boards Association Business Friend of Education Award for the support it has given to School Administrative District 44 students through the decades. Sunday River was nominated by the school board and honored at the Maine School Management Association’s Annual Fall Conference on Oct. 26 in Augusta.
