Navy Veteran Tom Jarvis, a volunteer with Museum L-A, hangs a World War II parachute in preparation for Museum L-A’s upcoming exhibit:  “The Work of War: Honoring Veterans and the Ones They Left Behind.” The community is invited to the exhibit opening on Friday, Nov. 10,  10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free for veterans and their families on these two days.  The exhibit will be on display through Dec. 31.
