JAY — Saturday, Nov. 25, “Laughs and Apps” returns to LaFleur’s Restaurant featuring New England and local comedians.
The show will start at 7 p.m. Ben Roberts of Leeds is back as host. He has fresh new material just for this event. He has brought some new exciting faces together as well as a couple regulars.
James Theberge has been quickly making a name for himself in Maine’s comedy scene. He’s closed out and hosted shows in Portland at Empire.
Dawn Hartill is a busy mom of three boys, but that doesn’t stop her. You can hear her on weekends hosting Country Corner on 92.7 the Ox or see her comedy on most any night of the week around the area.
Sam Pelletier was a finalist in Bear Bones Beers “Last Comic Laughing.” He hosts, produces,and performs successful shows at The House Of Bacon twice a week with comics from all over New England.
Randy Williams has been named the “Friendliest Guy In New England Comedy” by some jerks who didn’t know better. He’s taken his act of dirty dad jokes all around the world, appearing at renowned venues nationwide (The Comedy Studio, ImprovBoston, San Jose Improv, Rooster T. Feathers) as well as Ireland (Ireland’s smallest comedy club) and India (Bangalore Comedy Club at Take Five).
Closer to home, Connor McGrath is the hottest thing out of Deering Center to grace the docks and canoes on David Pond in hot pants during the summer. He’s very busy with the Portland Comedy Co-Ops shows. He will be performing his comedy that won him title of “Best Maine Comic” by the Portland Phoenix. Beating out both Bob Marley and Tim Sample. He’s cutting his families Thanksgiving dinner short for this show.
