WAYNE — Saturday, Dec. 2, from 9 to 5 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 3, from 10 to 4 p.m., the town will hold its annual Holiday Stroll.
Maps of the stroll will be available at the businesses on the stroll: A Lakeside Studio Pottery (Saturday 9-5, Sunday 10-4) Cobbie’s Corner Store, Cynthia Pettengill Fine Art Studio (Saturday 9-5, Sunday 10-4) Grey Goose Gourmet & Artisans (Saturday 9-5, Sunday 10-4) Julian’s Wayne General Store featuring A Small Town Bakery (wine tasting and holiday appetizer pre-order Saturday 3-6 ) Old Firehouse Farm & Artisans (Saturday 9-5, Sunday 10-4) Cary Library’s Williams House (Saturday 9-12) Wayne Elementary School craft fair (Saturday 9-2).
A gift basket of locally-made items will be raffled off at the end of the stroll.
To bring the stroll to a close on Sunday, all are invited for holiday carols beginning at the Wayne Community Church at 4 p.m and finishing up with a tree-lighting downtown by the community events sign. Jolly Old Saint Nick will be at the lighting with candy canes for all the boys and girls.
