LEWISTON — Maine children’s fiction writer Judi Valentine will sign books at Creative Artisans of Maine at Provencher’s, 299 River Road, from 10 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2. She is participating in “A Yuletide Gathering of Artisans.”

Valentine, an Auburn native, has written youth fiction, memoir and crime tales for several years. “The Crystal Chain” is her first novel for young readers released in March 2017 by Maine Authors Publishing. She has had several fiction pieces published in mid-coast Maine.

Valentine has lived in Portland, Washington D.C. and Maryland. She and her husband returned to Maine in 2010 and live in Camden.
