Holy Family Council 10019, Knights of Columbus, recently donated 25 gallons of aluminum can tabs to the Kora Temple Shriners in Lewiston for Christmas. The tabs were collected over one year’s time by the council members, friends and family. The tabs are exchanged for money and are recycled. That money will be turned over to the Rainbow Girls, a Masonic youth service organization, and they will make a donation to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospitals. The Knights of Columbus will be accepting can tabs again next year. From left are Al Viens, faithful navigator, Knights of Columbus; John Gailey, potentate, Kora Temple Masonic Lodge; and Normand Lebel, collection committee chairman.
