FARMINGTON — Beverly E. Anderson, 83, a resident of Wayne, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 20, at Sandy River Center in Farmington, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 14, 1934, in Jay, the daughter of Roland LaPointe and Dorothy (Willett) LaPointe. She was a 1951 graduate of Jay High School.

George Anderson and Beverly Lapointe were married in Livermore Falls by the honorable Judge Darey on May 19, 1953. They enjoyed 37 years together before George died on Dec. 30, 1990. She later met her companion, Linwood Draper, who passed away in 2004. Following his death, she met companion Bruce McDaniel. Beverly worked at Norwalk Shoe and Livermore Shoe and worked as a floor supervisor for 22 years at Sweetheart Plastics in Massachusetts. She loved talking on the CB radio; she went by the handle “Patience.” She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, bingo, puzzles, camping at Hebron Pines and liked listening to country music.

She is survived by her son, Denis Anderson and his wife, Kathy, of Wilmington, Mass.; her grandson, Stephen Michael Anderson; and her sisters, Lorraine Ouellette of Livermore, and Florence Cronkhite and Carol Ann LaPointe, both of Jay. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, George Anderson; son, Bruce Anderson; brothers-in-law, Laurier Ouellette and Lee Cronkhite; and companions, Linwood Draper and Bruce McDaniel.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Sandy River Center for the compassionate and loving care given to Beverly over the past three years.
