LEWISTON — The Oasis of Music series at Trinity Church, 247 Bates. St., continues Wednesday, Jan. 17 with violinist Aya Wakita.

Wakita, a music student at the University of Southern Maine, will perform a self-composed piece along with her arrangement of a medieval Troubadour song, and a selection of traditional fiddle tunes from Ireland and elsewhere.

She will perform from 12:30 to 1 p.m.; admission is free.
