AUBURN — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce will hold a breakfast meeting at 7 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, at the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch, 14 Great Falls Plaza.

The speaker will be Yellow Light Breen, president and CEO of the Maine Development Foundation. His topic is titled “Leading for People, Leading for Prosperity.”

He will talk about what research shows about the big drivers of Maine’s economic challenges and opportunities, Maine’s demographic cliff and what to do about it. Also, he’ll speak about the need to transform the workforce to compete and prosper, and how the need from leadership from all levels and sectors to join forces around research driven approaches to the big issues.
