Officers to be elected at society

BUCKFIELD — The Buckfield Historical Society will meet Thursday, April 12, at the Buckfield Town Hall.

There will be a social hour from 6 to 7 p.m. and the meeting will start at 7 when election of officers will be held. Members will discuss revisions of some by-laws.

MECHANIC FALLS — The Mechanic Falls Historical Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at the Anglican Church of the Transfiguration, 64 Elm St., formerly the First Congregational Church.
