OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Patricia Ann Galgovitch Wing Christiansen died suddenly Saturday, April 7. She was the daughter of John A. and Frances Ferrence Galgovitch.

Pat was born and raised in Lisbon Falls along with her brother, John “Butch.” Throughout her life she worked in law enforcement, starting with the Lisbon police and as a school crossing guard. She then worked as a dispatcher for the Androscoggin and York county sheriff’s departments and the Maine State Police. She also worked for several years for the Maine Turnpike Authority. Pat was proud to serve as a member of law enforcement and was considered to be one of the best at what she did.

Pat was a big Red Sox and NASCAR fan. She loved to follow her favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt.

Pat was predeceased by her parents, John and Frances; her brother, Butch; and her husband, Harald “Chris” Christiansen.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Rossitto of Portland, Conn., Victoria Toher and her husband, Greg, of Scarborough, Darlene Dumas of Jacksonville, Fla., Valerie Rowell of Wrightwood, Calif., Cheryl Spoerr and her husband, Richard, of Coral Springs, Fla., Juanita Clark and her husband, Steve, of Phippsburg, Janet Wing of Biddeford, and Carol Wing of Millbrook, Ala.; 19 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her beloved cat, Baby Girl.
