Harrison Lions Club selling tickets
HARRISON — The Harrison Lions Club will sell tickets to no more than 200 people, giving them the chance to win prize amounts from $300 to $25. Tickets are $20 each and include dinner. There are 15 cash prizes in all.
The event will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 15, at the United Parish Congregational Church. Tickets are available from members of the Lions Club and also at the door.
Skeet shooting at fish and game
WATERFORD — Recreational skeet shooting is held at 1 p.m. Saturdays and 9 a.m. Thursdays at the Waterford Fish & Game Association, Route 118.
The public is welcome and should bring a shotgun and ammo. The cost is $3 a round of 25 targets.

Texas Hold’em at American Legion
LOCKE MILLS — Texas Hold’em will be held Saturday, April 21, at Jackson-Silver Post 68, American Legion, 595 Gore Road.
Doors will open at 11 a.m.; games begin at 1 p.m. There will be a $50 buy-in, 50/50, pull tabs, meals and beverages available.
Bingo games to resume at Legion
KINGFIELD — American Legion Post 61, 62 School St., will resume bingo beginning Saturday, April 21.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and games will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Weary Club to meet for coffee
NORWAY — Members and friends of the Weary Club will meet for coffee and conversation at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 21.
Contra dance to take place at Norway church
NORWAY — A contradance will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at the First UU Church of Norway, 479 Main St.
Music will be by the Better Late Than Never Band, with Chrissy Fowler calling. Cost will be $8/$20 family max. Beginners are welcome with or without a partner. Bring clean shoes for dancing.

Chesterville Hill Cemetery Assoc. meeting
CHESTERVILLE — The Chesterville Hill Cemetery Association annual meeting will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at 416 Chesterville Hill Road.
All members and interested persons are invited to attend. There will be the election of officers, annual reports and committee needs discussed.
Clothing Give-Away at Norway Grange
NORWAY — A Clothing Give-Away will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 28, at the Norway Grange, Whitman Street.
The Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church, Norway Grange and friends have teamed up to offer the event, coined as the 3-C Give-Away, providing free clothes, cookies and coffee. In addition there will be a limited quantity of new socks and underwear as well as some household and bedding articles.
All are welcome. The event is open to anyone needing clothes or who would like a time of fellowship with coffee and cookies.
Donations may be dropped off at the Norway Grange from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, April 23, through Wednesday, April 25.
People are asked to not leave anything on the front porch. There is a need for new underwear and socks for infants to adults. Clothing is collected throughout the year. This event is done in the spring and fall each year.
