LEWISTON —  L/A Arts is pleased to announce the 2018 season of Art Walk L-A, starting on Friday, May 25, from 5 to 8 p.m. and continuing the last Friday of each month: June 29, July 27, Aug. 31, Sept. 28, and Oct. 26. In addition to a rich display of visual artwork by leading artists from the area, each art walk will highlight a different form of artistic performance or creation. The May 25 event will feature poetry and flowers; participants will have opportunities to view visual arts, purchase flowers and listen to local poets reciting their work along the art walk route from downtown Lisbon Street in Lewiston across the Memorial Bridge to Festival Plaza in Auburn. Future art walks will highlight music, comedy, art-making, dance and storytelling.
