NORWAY — As part of Norway Downtown’s Spring Fling from 2 to 5 p.m., Friday, May 11, Pleasant Hill Property Services is offering a special activity for young people, “Plant Curiosity and Creativity,” and helping raise support for Celebration Barn Theater, a South Paris-based nonprofit arts center.

Norway’s Pleasant Hill Property Services will provide children the opportunity to pot their own flower to take home. This is made possible thanks to the generous contributions of flowers from some of some of Maine’s premiere independent growers including Estabrook’s, Skillins and Broadway Gardens Greenhouses, with potting soil contributed by Coast of Maine. There is no cost to participate.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase Mother’s Day hanging baskets. Pleasant Hill Property Services will be donating all profits from the sale of hanging baskets to Celebration Barn Theater— Maine’s international center for theater training, creation, and performance located in South Paris. Celebration Barn will be on hand with fun surprises including a raffle for tickets for the season-opening performance of Mike Miclon’s Early Evening Show on June 2. To purchase tickets or find more information, visit www.CelebrationBarn.com or call the Barn’s box office at 207-43-8452.
