MONMOUTH — Catherine Ann Carney, 63, of Gerald Drive died Sunday, May 6, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Lewiston on Nov. 16, 1954, the daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Stone) Duguay.
Catherine attended schools in Auburn. She worked at Clover Health Care as a CNA and medication technician for 30 years.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and enjoyed playing beano and attending craft fairs. During the summertime, Catherine loved spending time at the beach, riding on the Harley with Tom and four-wheeling in Rangeley.
Catherine was predeceased by an infant brother, Franklin Duguay.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Carney; a son, Kevin R. Francis, and wife, Angela, of Katonah, N.Y.; three daughters, Sheley A. Francis of Auburn, Wendy S. Carney and partner, Norman, of Lewiston and Angela S. Conway and husband, Patrick, of Lewiston; four brothers, Francis Duguay and wife, Lorraine, of Greene, Jerry Duguay and wife, Linda, of Sabattus, Phillip Duguay and wife, Carmen, of Leeds and George Duguay and wife, Cindy, of Turner; a sister, Sue Vachon, of Auburn; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; a godchild, Cathy McNally, of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews.
