OXFORD — A dog-grooming business has reopened at the Oxford Mini Mall, three months after fire destroyed its shop in Paris, owner Nicole Nickerson said.
Pampered Pups held an open house May 12 at its new shop at 1600 Main St.
“The open house went really well,” Nickerson said. “I had a list of phone numbers about three pages long of people who wanted me to let them know that I had reopened, so I had a busy first week.”
Business hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Sgt. Ken Grimes of the State Fire Marshal’s Office said in February that a malfunctioning heat pump caused the fire that destroyed the commercial building at 41 Western Ave. It housed Pampered Pups and building owners Steve and Carole Barrett, who lived in the apartment above the garage.
The Barretts were not injured in the fire.
