Student poets to read at Rumford library
RUMFORD — The Poets of RSU 10 will read from their works at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at the Rumford Public Library. The student poets are from grades three to 12.
Poet Richard Taylor will read from his new book and talk about writing. Teacher Lia Paliocha will introduce her students.
Light refreshments will be served at the program, which is free and open to the public.

Poetry Share at Wilton library
WILTON — The Wilton Free Public Library will host a poetry share from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 31.
This is an opportunity to read and discuss poems with other local writers.

Waterford Library annual meeting
WATERFORD — The Board of Trustees of the Waterford Library will welcome residents to the 2018 annual meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 31.
Geraldine O’Donnell, president of the trustees will host, and, with Nancy Marcotte, trustee and local historian, will present an overview of the architectural study to make the library building ADA accessible. The board is working with Paul Stevens, great-grandson of the original architect, John Calvin Stevens.
A grant from the King Foundation helped make this study possible.
