This year, 2,500 permits will be issued to hunt moose in Maine. Of the 2,500 permits, 10 percent from each wildlife management district, or 241, go to nonresidents. This year there will be 450 antlerless permits issued, 2,005 antlered moose permits issued, and 45 permits issued for either antlerless or antlered moose.
