WATERFORD — Recreational skeet shooting is held at 1 p.m. Saturdays and 9 a.m. Thursdays at the Waterford Fish & Game Association, Route 118.

The public is welcome and should bring a shotgun and ammo. The cost is $3 a round of 25 targets.

Legion plans poker tournament

LOCKE MILLS — Texas Hold’em will be played Saturday, June 16, at Jackson-Silver Post 68, American Legion, 595 Gore Road.

Doors will open at 11 a.m., and games will begin at 1 p.m. There will be a $50 buy-in, a 50/50 raffle, pull tabs. Refreshments will be available, and those playing may bring beverages.

Music Sunday worship service

NORWAY — The Second Congregational Church, UCC, of Norway will hold its annual Music Sunday worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 17. Following the service there will be light refreshments.

Music Sunday has become a long-standing tradition at the Second Congregational Church. The choral music, under the direction of Shirli Allen Heald will include the musician’s favorite anthems and selections from both the Christmas and Easter seasons. All are welcome.

Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Camp

HARTFORD — The summer season of Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Camp, under the leadership of President Scott Mills, will begin with devotional services at 10:30 a.m. Sundays, June 17 through Aug. 26.
