AUBURN — A 38-year-old Turner man was hurt Friday night when his ATV collided with a minivan on Summer Street.

Police who responded to the 9 p.m. wreck said Jonathan Thompson was bleeding from a gash to his forehead but that he was conscious and alert when emergency crews arrived. He was taken to a Lewiston hospital where he was being evaluated later Friday.

His injuries were described as serious but not life-threatening.

Police said Thompson had been driving a 72cc four-wheeler when he ran a stop sign at the intersection of Summer and Blake streets.

The minivan was driven by Brynna Skov, 25, of Portland, police said. She and a passenger were not hurt when the van collided with the ATV.
