Farmington Historical Society meeting
FARMINGTON — Farmington Historical Society will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, June 25, at the Titcomb House, 118 Academy St. A pot luck supper, short meeting will follow.
The program is “Doll Tales,” where Jane Woodman and Claudia Bell highlight some of the unique dolls in the extensive antique doll collection left to the FHS by Sadie Pearson Lowell. Everyone is welcome.
SeniorsPlus at Norway Town Office
NORWAY — SeniorsPlus will be at the Norway Town Office from noon to 4 p.m. Monday, June 25.
Representatives will be on hand to answer any questions or concerns about services and resources for older adults and adults with disabilities and their families.

CPR and First Aid class
OXFORD — A Heartsaver CPR and First Aid class will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, at the Oxford Public Safety Building, 701 Main St. The course will teach basic first aid, adult, child and infant CPR and the use of an AED.
Upon completion of the one day class, participants will receive a two-year certification in accordance with the American Heart Association. This certificate course is accepted for day/child care providers, loggers, guides, teachers and any other non-healthcare related professions.
Groups may also request to schedule a class at their convenience. Health care BLS CPR re-certifications are done as needed one-on-one.

Harrison Lions plan car show
HARRISON — The Harrison Lions will have a car show on Sunday, June 24, at the Crystal Lake Park.
Registration is from 8 to 11 a.m. with a fee of $5 per car. There are 20 classes including antiques; best of 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s and newer; motorcyles; two- and four-wheel-drive trucks; foreign vehicles; and specialty vehicles.
Concessions will be available along with live music featuring 18-year-old Christian Martin of Stowe, a 2018 graduate of Fryeburg Academy.
This event is free to the public. All proceeds will be used for community programs.
Jay church plans vacation Bible school
JAY — Bean’s Corner Baptist Church is accepting registrations for its annual vacation Bible school that will be held Monday to Friday, June 25 to 29.
Based on the theme Shipwrecked VBS, the school will feature songs, competitions and team-building games. Also, children will participate in Bible learning activities and look for evidence of God around them. They will also join in a missions fundraising project.
Sessions will be held for children ages 4 to sixth grade. Daily sessions will run from 9 to 11:45 a.m.

Norway library summer reading program
NORWAY — Readers of all ages will explore all things musical this summer as Norway Memorial Library Children’s Room presents “Libraries Rock” during the summer reading program. Activities will include an introduction to ukuleles, group games, musical crafts, storytelling through song, and more.
The summer reading program is open to young people, pre-school through age 12, with programs, free books and a reading club. Registration begins on Tuesday, June 26, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. All programs are free of charge.
