Relative Pitch at Turner church
TURNER — First Universalist Church will hear the musical group Relative Pitch at its Sunday service at 10 a.m. June 24.
Relative Pitch includes Tim Flynn on harmonica, Karen Flynn on the guitar, Rob Tukey on the piano and Kathy Amsden on the drums.
Mad Science of Maine at APL
AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library will host Mad Science of Maine at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 25, in the Androscoggin Community Room as it kicks off the 2018 summer reading program, Sounds of Silence.
Kids will open their ears and eyes as they explore sound as it travels through solids, liquids, and gases, and listen to the tones of Mad Science resonance tubes. Kids will even help to recreate an indoor thunder storm.

Summer meals for Auburn children
AUBURN — Auburn will offer a summer feeding program for breakfast and lunch to be served weekdays from Monday, June 25, to Friday, Aug. 17. Sites are Auburn Middle School, Fairview School, Pettengill Park, Boys & Girls Club, YMCA, PAL Center, Sherwood Heights School, Walton School, Washburn School and Edward Little High School.
All meals must be eaten on site as participants are not allowed to remove food from the site. Free meals are provided to all children from pre-school to 18 years of age.
Anyone who is interested in participating in the program must sign up through the Auburn School Lunch Program. Call Paula Rouillard at 207-333-6658.

Marine Corp monthly meeting
LEWISTON — Marine Corps League Central Maine Detachment 810 will host its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave.
All Marines, FMF corpsman and Navy chaplains are invited. Anyone interested in Marines Helping Veterans is also invited to attend.
New Auburn Neighborhood Watch
AUBURN — A Neighborhood Watch meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at the Sixth Street Congregational Church.
