UNAA to meet June 26

AUBURN — United New Auburn Association will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, at Rolly’s Diner.

Mike Chammings from City Hall will speak on the Economic Development Department.

Salvation Army offers food program

LEWISTON — The Salvation Army is addressing a need in the community with a children’s Summer Food Service Program.

Children ages 18 and younger are invited to The Salvation Army facility at 67 Park St. for dinners from 4 to 5 p.m. Saturdays from June 30 through Aug. 2.

Happy Birthday America Story Time

AUBURN — Auburn Public Library will offer Happy Birthday America Story Time at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30, at 49 Spring St.

Children and their families will listen to stories, create a holiday themed craft, have a parade in the library and celebrate America’s birthday with cake.

All are welcome. Registration is required by calling the library at 207-333-6640, ext. 3.

Auburn Church collecting hygiene products 

AUBURN — The Auburn United Methodist Church is supporting the Center for Wisdom’s Women by helping supply hygiene products for the women that they serve.

Requested donations include shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, body wash, disposable razors, lotion, lip balm and feminine hygiene products.  

Donations can be dropped off at 439 Park Ave.

Cribbage league to play 

LEWISTON — Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League plays Thursdays at the Lewiston Memorial Armory, 65 Central Ave. 

Doors open at 8 a.m., and games will begin at 9 a.m. 

The league plays through April, but games are played year-round.
