The Nick Knowlton memorial bench is installed at Pettingill School Park by employees of Lewiston Public Works, from left, Reggie Poussard, Thomas Couillard and Matt Pelletier. Knowlton’s children Nicholas and Krista Knowlton were the first to break it in on the corner of College and Little Streets. Beneath the bench one of their father’s microphones was placed in the cement. The plaque on the bench reads, “In Memory of Daniel ‘Nick’ Knowlton, Lewiston’s Rock ‘n Roll Legend – July 16, 1951-June 23, 2017.”
