Summer school at Region 9
MEXICO — Summer School at Region 9 Adult Education starts July 10.
Region 9 will offer orientation sessions will from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, July 10 through 12.
Regular school hours during the summer will be from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesdays through Thursdays through Aug. 16.
Anyone wishing to work on completing a high school diploma, obtaining a HiSET degree, improving math, reading or writing skills may join.
High school credit recovery students — seniors at least 17 years old — must bring signed paperwork from the sending high school to participate.
Church lists Kid’s Korner schedule
WEST PARIS — The Kid’s Korner located at the First Universalist Church of West Paris, 208 Main St., will be closed for the month of July and will re-open on Saturday, Aug. 4.
Kid’s Korner collects and donates new and gently used clothing for infants and toddlers.
This is a free service for area communities. The days and hours are the first and third weekends of the month: 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays.

Contradance to resume in October
FARMINGTON — There will be no Farmington contradance in July, August or September. The regular dance will resume in October.

Peru Baptist offering Bible school
PERU — Peru Baptist Church will offer vacation Bible school, “Time Lab: Discovering Jesus from Eternity Past to Eternity Future.”
It will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, July 9, through Friday, July 13, at the church. VBS is for children ages 4 to 12.
