Riders take off during a West Paris Downhill Derby last year. This year’s season starts on Saturday, July 14. Registration will be from 9 to 10 a.m., and racing will start at 10:30 a.m. Those ages 7 to 14 are welcome to participate. Some derby cars are available to use. Helmet and sneakers are required. Parents must be present to sign the permission slip. This year, all races will be point races, and point champions will be awarded at the end of the season.
