Emergency workers examine a Nissan Rogue in a Minot Avenue driveway in Auburn at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday after a man was pinned under the vehicle. According to witnesses, the man driving the SUV pulled into the driveway and put the vehicle in reverse instead of park. As he was exiting the vehicle, he was pushed under the wheels and pinned as it rolled backward. One witness said the car came to rest on the man’s right hip and leg. While awaiting rescue workers, a group of people attempted to lift the SUV. Firefighters then arrived and freed the man, who was rushed to a Lewiston hospital to be examined.
