Foundation sets new deadlines
BANGOR — The Stephen & Tabitha King Foundation has announced changes to the deadlines for its twice yearly application process.
Starting immediately, the new deadlines will be April 15 and Oct. 15 of each year.
Applications are now being accepted for the Oct. 15 deadline. Questions can be send to [email protected].
Albany Improvement Assoc. meeting
ALBANY — The annual meeting of the Albany Improvement Association will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, at the Albany Town Hall at the intersection of Hunt’s Corner Road and Vernon Street.

New Rumford Catholic Library social club
RUMFORD — For anyone with a daughter or granddaughter disillusioned with life, hurt by social media and convinced her hope of marriage is over, the Rumford Catholic Library is establishing a social club for young Christian women, age 22 to 32, with the emphasis of fun, friendship and trousseau-building.

Community center seeks crafters
LIVERMORE — Crafters are wanted to participate in this year’s fourth annual Autumn Craft Fair at the Livermore Community Center, 25 Church St., from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3.

Farmer’s market on Thursdays
NORWAY — The Norway Farmer’s Market will be open from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursdays through Oct. 4, at Witherell Park by the police station.
