NAPLES — The 11th annual Intertribal Pow-Wow will be held Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 8 and 9, on Sunrise Road. The public is welcome
Hosted by Sacred Spirits Drum, it will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.
There will be drumming by Sacred Spirits Drum, L’Espirit Du Vent, Medicine Bear and Sacred Earth. Dancing, singing, flute-playing, story telling and native crafts are also included during the celebration.
Recommended donation, $5; elders and children ages 6 to 12, $3; family pass, $15. Proceeds will benefit the Naples Historical Society
No drugs or alcohol are permitted. All animals must be leashed and tended.
To access the pow-wow site take Route 302 to Route 114, after one mile go left on State Park Road for four-tenths of a mile, turn left on Fire Lane 178 (Sunrise Road).
