AUBURN — The Auburn Fire Department will host its annual 9/11 Roll Up Your Sleeve and Remember Blood Drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, at 550 Minot Avenue.

“This blood drive is a chance for Auburn residents to gather together and honor the heroes that lost their lives that day as well as those who volunteered their help in the aftermath,” said Auburn Fire Chief Robert Chase.

“On that terrible day it was the blood already on the shelves that saved lives. This blood drive is a reminder that we must strive to be prepared, and make sure that blood is always available wherever and whenever it is needed.”
