LEWISTON — Super Saturday and a pair of weeknight classes will mark the start of the fall session of Lewiston Adult Education.

Small Engine & Power Equipment Repair and Bargello Quilts start on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Lewiston High School. Small Engine will allow people to fix chain saws and snowblowers. Bargello Quilts, which involve vibrant color patterns, can give students an artistic outlet while staying warm.

The classes had been listed with earlier start dates in the Fall 2018 brochure.

This semester’s Super Saturday is set for Oct. 13 at Lewiston High School. Classes with openings include Quilting for Beginners, Russian for Beginners, Spiritual Metaphysics: Heart-Based Living, Tea Tasting, PowerPoint and Jasmine Cafe Food Truck.

Supanne Saengwong of Jasmine Cafe will talk about the food truck business as well as Asian cuisine before letting students try food from the truck. People interested in the Tea Tasting with Hawo Abdille will need to bring mugs to sample the many different varieties offered. Victor Caron will explain ways to make the most of a presentation by using PowerPoint.

For more information about the classes, call Lewiston Adult Education at 207-795-4141 or visit the website, www.lewiston.maineadulted.org.
