Legion to hold Halloween dance and supper

MECHANIC FALLS — American Legion Post 150 will host a Halloween dance and supper on Friday, Oct. 19, from 5 to 11 p.m. There will be seafood and corn chowder, grilled cheese and desserts.

Cost for the supper is $7; dance, $10. There will be a house DJ, door prizes and a prize for the best costume.

Augusta orchestra to give free concert

LEWISTON — Join the Augusta Symphony Chamber Orchestra for a free concert featuring Vivaldi, Beethoven and Maine’s original Allagash Suite.

The concert will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 247 Bates St.
