CONNIE T. PALLESCHI
PORTLAND – Mrs. Connie T. Palleschi, 91, formerly of Rumford passed away peacefully on Friday October 19, 2018 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland with her loving family at her side.
Born in Rumford, ME on August 25, 1927 she was a daughter of Joseph and Virginia (Paradis) Sirois. She was a graduate of Stephens High School in Rumford. Connie worked as a Customer Service Attendant at Montgomery Ward in Rumford. Her talents were many; she was an extremely accomplished seamstress, cook, decorator, devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved to entertain. She and her husband Dominic would often work together on wood working projects for fund raising events in the community. She relished time together with family and friends. She was known as a good listener and had a way of helping others reconcile life’s challenges. She was a communicant of the Parish of The Holy Savior St Athanasius St John Church in Rumford.
Connie was married in Rumford, ME on September 3, 1951 to Dominic Palleschi who died in Lewiston, ME on March 14, 2008.
She is survived by her children, Catherine Palleschi and John Peters of Gorham, ME, Carol Palleschi of Gorham, ME and Mary Ellen and Wayne Davis of Turner, ME; two granddaughters, Katlyn and Colleen Davis of Turner, ME. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, 3 brothers, Theodore Sirois of Farmington, Ronald Sirois of Rumford and Paul Sirois of Byron, ME.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the Maine Medical Center Emergency Room staff and to South Portland Rescue for their special care and kindness shown to Connie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Parish of The Holy Savior, St Athanasius St John Church in Rumford. Interment will be in St John Cemetery in Rumford. Those who desire may contribute to McKennals Adoption Agency, 88 Hall Hill Road, Rumford, ME 04276 in her memory.
