Bertha M. Duguay
1945 – 2018

AUBURN – Bertha M. Duguay, 73, formerly of Meadowview Park, in Lewiston, passed away peacefully, Oct. 27, 2018, at Clover Health Care, following a long illness with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Hanover, July 1, 1945, the daughter of Roger and Ruth (Merrill) Brown.

She worked many years in the local shoe industry until her retirement.

Bertha enjoyed shopping, knitting and spending time with family.

Survivors include one son, Russell Duguay of Greene, two daughters, Tina Cook and husband Daniel, of Wales, Donna Bryant and husband, Daniel, of Auburn; one brother, Chester Brown, of Bryant Pond; as well as five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Nellie and Carol, and one brother, Harold.

Memorial services, honoring Bertha’s life, will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Greene Baptist Church, 102 Main St., Greene, Maine.
