Doris C. Rainville
1926-2018

DOVER, N.H. – Doris C. Rainville 91, formerly of Auburn, died Sunday Oct. 28, at Riverside Rest Home in Dover, N.H. She was born in Lewiston on Nov. 9, 1926, a daughter of the late Antoine and Dorothy (Coulombe) Martel. She was educated in Lewiston and graduated from St. Dominic’s High School.

Doris married Norman Rainville in 1947, and together they settled to raise their family and run the family business, NC Rainville Co. Doris enjoyed reading, traveling and most of all, spending time with her beloved family.

Doris is survived by three daughters, Christine Marshall and husband, Alan, of Brentwood, N.H., Jane Ganota and husband, Charles, of Exeter, N.H., and Patricia Prince and husband, David, of Lee, N.H., a son, Donald Rainville and wife, Victoria, of Auburn; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband in Dec. of 1998; her two sons, Daniel and David Rainville; and all her siblings.

Visitation, Fortin Auburn, Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 10-12 p.m. Funeral will follow at the funeral home at 12 p.m. Committal will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
