GRAY (AP) — It’s bitter cold in Maine, enough to set some record temperatures.
The National Weather Service in Gray says daily record low and coldest Thanksgiving temperature records were set at Portland and Augusta. It got down to 6 degrees in Portland on Thursday and 4 degrees in Augusta.

Before Thursday, Portland’s coldest low temperature on Thanksgiving was 7 degrees in 1978.
