LEWISTON — A two-vehicle accident in front of Irving Oil on Sabattus Street sent one man to the hospital Monday evening. 

Jerry Breton, 66, of Lewiston was taken to a hospital after a collision between his 2006 Volkswagen and a 2001 Volvo owned by Richard Clark, 18, of Lewiston, according to police. The accident occurred about 4:45 p.m. at 449 Sabattus St.

Both drivers were said to have minor injuries.

Police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the scene.
