AUBURN – Anita N. Dupont, 75, formerly of Lewiston, died on Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice, in Auburn, after a four year battle with cancer.
Born on Dec. 22, 1942, in Lewiston, she was the daughter of Louis and Yvette Joudoin Bechard. She attended local schools, graduating from Edward Little, class of ’61. She worked as a secretary, at State Distributors. On May 15, 1965, Anita married Phillip R. Dupont. She was a wonderful homemaker that loved her family, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchild. Anita was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and reality television. Before her illness she enjoyed visiting Maine’s casinos and she was a self taught computer user who enjoyed games and could compete against anyone, of any age. Anita had several long time friends from her high school years at Edward Little.
Survivors include her husband, Phillip; one daughter, Debbie, and her husband, Alton Henderson; two grandchildren, Lindsey and Corey Henderson; and a great-grandson, Damian Brown.
Anita was predeceased by her parents.
