Fourth-grade students Addison-Rae Millett, left, Camden Plourde, Sophea Charpentier, Olivia Manson and Avelynn Bowie fill meal baskets Friday at Acadia Academy in Lewiston. The charter school students collected food for 50 “whole meals in a box” for Kaydenz Kitchen, a food pantry displaced by a fire Dec. 5. The pantry is named after Farwell Elementary fifth-grader Kayden Boilard, who had a mission of delivering food to people in need. Staff and students decided to help Boilard with her mission. Kaydenz Kitchen is at the Pepperell Mill at 550 Lisbon St. (Sun Journal photo by Daryn Slover)
