NORWAY – Larry W. Prech, 73, of Norway, a lover of life, “braved the ring of fire,” early Wednesday morning, Dec. 19, 2018, with his loving wife, of over 19 years, by his side.
He was born on Aug. 11, 1945, in Lewiston, a son of, Leonard “Johnny” Prech and Patricia Day.
Larry worked for many years as an oil burner technician, as well as a mechanic.
He enjoyed watching the SciFi channel with loyal companion, “Nala” by his side, although nothing compared to the joy of time spent with his family. He loved visits by friends, watching his grandson, Ashton, play football, hearing his granddaughter, Natasha, tell him all about dance and tumbling, and what she had learned, new, in class, and especially mornings and evenings with his wife, Kathy.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy and their six children; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His family wishes to thank the therapy crew at SMH, “Dr. K,” Althea, Western Maine Transportation especially, Bob and Deb, his “other wife,” Mary, and the other special friends who know who they are.
