SANDY RIVER PLANTATION – Brian Lewis, 59, formerly of Sudbury and a longtime resident of the Rangeley area, died Christmas day, 2018, at his home on Beaver Mountain Lake. He was born in Newton, Mass., June 25, 1959, a son of Arthur King and Mary (Hough) Lewis.

He worked in sales, and as a tradesman, a finished carpenter and jack-of-all trades, for many years. Brian loved the lakes and mountains in the Rangeley area, as well as the solitude. He enjoyed snowmobiling, driving vintage Harley-Davidsons, building, classic cars in his younger years, and helping friends and family when needed.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Lewis; brothers, Daniel, of Boston, Dean, of Sudbury, Craig, of Wareham, and Mark, of Gardner, sister, Deborah Lewis Hammond, of Garland, Texas; many nieces and nephews.

Graveside memorial services and interment will be on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019 at 11 a.m., at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 329 Concord Rd., Sudbury, Mass., immediately followed by a Celebration of Life, and that location will be announced at the interment. Friends wishing to share memories may do so on his memorial wall at www.wilesrc.com.  Cremation care has been provided by the Wiles Remembrance Center/Adams~McFarlane Chapel, 137 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington.
