LIVERMORE FALLS — Police are investigating the theft of tools, saltwater fishing equipment and other items valued at more than $2,000 from a garage on High Street.

The burglary was reported Monday, according to Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr.

Steward said the thefts were discovered when the garage door was found open and tackle boxes were then found to be empty. Saltwater lures are among the items stolen, Steward said.
