WALES – Roland W. Frost, 82, of Wales, passed away on Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, at Hospice House of Androscoggin, in Auburn. He was born in East Monmouth, Maine, on Sept. 7, 1936, the son of Wesley S. and Sarah Jane Walton Frost. Roland attended school in Monmouth and later got his master mechanic license. On July 21, 1955, he married Shirley M. O’Connor in East Monmouth. He was a mechanic for Blue Rock Industries in Leeds and retired in 1998. Roland enjoyed traveling, fishing, snowmobiling, and was passionate and loyal fan of the Red Sox and the New England Patriots. But above all he enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter and great-granddaughter. He is survived by his wife, Shirley M. Frost, of Wales; a daughter, Connie Frost Pettengill and husband, Allan, of Wales; granddaughter, Katherine Pettengill Sherman and great-granddaughter Hannah Sherman, both of Lewiston. He was predeceased by his parents; twin brother; Ronald S. Frost; brother, Kenneth W. Frost; two sisters, Geneva F. Robertson and Edna Mae Hutchinson.
