State Sen. Ned Claxton, D-Auburn, left, presents a legislative sentiment to Ken Blais, owner of Rolly’s Diner, 87 Mill St., Auburn, on behalf of the members of the Maine House and Senate. The recognition commemorates 25 years of business and community building and was given at a recent meeting of the United New Auburn Association. The association meets monthly at Rolly’s Diner to support the community of New Auburn. The family-owned business has been operated through the years by Ken, Jean and Roland Blais. Roland Blais, who was also honored in the legislative sentiment, passed away in January.
