LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce is hosting the next Power Lunch seminar, Planning for Tomorrow, a seminar series on options and strategies for business owners to exit their business and retire. This seminar is the third in a series but may be attended by itself. It will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the Chamber, 415 Lisbon St. The seminar is free of charge.
Too many business owners don’t have a realistic plan on how to exit their businesses, earn a decent retirement income and preserve the legacy they have built and the jobs they have created. They don’t understand their options.
Topic for this workshop is achieving your goals; understanding the financial, tax and legal issues in exit planning. Presenters include Rob Brown, director, Business Ownership Solutions Cooperative Development Institute; David Jean, CPA, CCIFP, CExP, principal, Altus Exit Strategies; and Kenleigh Nicoletta, partner, Brann & Isaacson.
Those attending are encouraged to bring a lunch. Snacks, sweets, coffee and other beverages will be provided.
