Site work is underway Friday on a $1.7 million Bangor Savings Bank branch at 170 Turner St. in Auburn. Workers found a 60-inch diameter storm drain 30 feet into the ground that had to be replaced. “The relocation was scheduled for winter when storm drainage was at its lowest peak and it will have no impact on construction, which is supposed to start in the spring,” bank spokeswoman Carol Colson said.
