NORWAY — Firefighters quickly extinguished a house fire Tuesday night at 544 Crockett Ridge Road, according to Assistant Fire Chief Tim Yates.

Yates said the fire began in the kitchen of the one-story, single-family house.

The cause of the fire was not known Tuesday night. An investigation is planned for Wednesday morning, Yates said.

A Norway fire official said everybody made it out of the house before firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported.

The house is owned by Tina Levesque, according to the Norway Town Office website.
