AUBURN — Rebecca Webber, an attorney with Skelton Taintor & Abbott, will lead the Medical Leave or Sick Leave HR workshop Wednesday, March 13, at Oxford Casino on Route 26.

Sponsored by the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce, Central Maine Human Resource Association and Oxford Casino Hotel, the breakfast event will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m.

Webber will discuss issues related to family medical leave, Maine sick leave and disability accommodation, including what employers need to know when employees ask for time off due to illness and what questions an employer is allowed to ask. The program’s primary focus is family medical leave, but other laws will also be mentioned. Participants may submit questions to Webber in advance at [email protected].
