Kellee Riordan of East Livermore picks green beans at Whiting Farms in Auburn on Tuesday morning with the Androscoggin Gleaners, harvesting crops that farmers do not have the time or resources to pick. The group delivers the fresh produce to organizations serving food insecure individuals. Riordan, who retired recently, finds the volunteer work rewarding. “I was working six days a week, so I didn’t have a lot of time, but now I have time.
